Decorating Workshops

Choose a plate, mug or bowl and paint it with your own design. Our artist will guide you on using the various brushes and sponges to execute your design onto our bisque fired plates.

After the workshop we will put a glaze over your design and fire the pieces ready for everyday use. We will notify you when your items are ready for collection or you can arrange postage home. Please note that postage is not included in your class price. We allow an hour for each session. Maximum of 20 people per class. 

Price is for a single piece of pottery only. Extra pieces are available for purchase during your class. Please arrive 10 mins early for your chosen class.

Times: 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
Dates:  Monday 6th January 2025 - Friday 10th January 2025
             Monday 13th January 2025 - Friday 17th January 2025
             Monday 20^th January 2025 – Friday 24^th January 2025

Cost:    $30 per person

* No age restrictions.
* Classes will not run on Tuesdays or weekends at present.

Wheel Throwing Workshops 

Make a pot on the wheel under the guidance of one of our skilled potters. In a half hour lesson our potter will show you how to make an upright piece and an open piece. All pots you make are yours to take home or we can glaze and fire any of them at a cost of $10 per piece. We will notify you when your items are ready for collection or you can arrange postage home. Please note that postage is not included in your class price. Lessons are a half hour experience.  Maximum of 4 people per class. Please arrive 10 mins early for your chosen class.

Times: 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm 3pm
Dates: Monday 13th January 2025 - Friday 17th January 2025
             Monday 20^th January 2025 – Friday 24^th January 2025

Clay Play

Available during our opening hours - no bookings required.

Pick up a clay kit at the counter for some hands on sculptural fun at Bendigo Pottery, with tools and aprons provided. Cost: $5 per person.

Or purchase a clay kit or a family block ($14.95) and some tools ($23/pack) for some fun at home. 

Paint A Piece

Available during our opening hours - no bookings required.

Choose a cup, plate or bowl, pick up a colour palette from the counter, and paint at your own pace. Once finished, we’ll glaze and fire your piece. You’ll be contacted when it’s ready for pickup or you can arrange postage home.

Cup - $25 each 
Plate - $30 each
Bowl - $35 each
